Here's a hint. 1. File the claim for the customer. (Meaning you on the phone.)
2. Report it as a water loss.

3. How I answered their questions:
QUESTION: "What Happened?"
ANSWER: Water loss. Leak near refrigerator.
QUESTION: "When Did This Happen?"
ANSWER: If you don't 100% KNOW when it happened (nobody ever does) then it should be reported as TODAY as the date of loss. If you don't know when it happened, then you can only point to 1 day with any certainty. That day is the day you were called out and you put professional equipment on the site (moisture meter) and found that it was wet. If you came out yesterday, use that day.
